Judith Lindblom Obituary

Judith Ann Lindblom was born in Monroe, Wisconsin on April 27, 1932 to her parents, Cyril and Eleanor Madden. Her father, Cyril was a Sales Manager for Kraft Foods in its early days of the company. His job took his family from Monroe to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and then on to Oak Park, Illinois just outside of Chicago. Finally ending up in Erie, Pennsylvania. She attended Catholic school through High School. Her father, “Papa” as she called him, passed away when she was 10 years old while they were in Erie. She recalled going golfing with him and his clients on several occasions and having those wonderful days with her Papa.

After his passing, her mother Eleanor, sister Mernie, and Judy moved back to Monroe. Her mother knew a nice gentleman, Herman “Hermie”Schindler and they eventually got married. Mom got a second father.

Sometime after her high school graduation, her brother Daniel who moved to Denver, Colorado convinced her to move here. She lived in women’s rooming house in downtown Denver. She met our father, John Lindblom and they were married on June 21, 1956.

Judy and John Lindblom had 3 sons, Doug, Mark, and Robert. Besides her mother and father, sister and brother, she was blessed to have a wonderful daughter-in-law, Marla and plenty of loving nieces and nephews.

She was a stay-at-home mom for several years, but went back to work as a legal secretary for an oil company, a Real Estate company, and a couple of large law firms.

She and dad loved to travel. They toured most the US. She also did a couple of Catholic pilgrimages of Medjugorje, Israel, and Rome. She loved the Colorado Mountains and wildlife, especially the Moose.

She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, aunt, and friend. A great cook, dessert, and bread maker. She made a wonderful home life for us. She loves the Lord God, our Father. Prayed the Rosary every night before going to bed.

She left us in the early morning of May 15, 2026. 94 years young. We were lucky to have her so long.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Drinkwine Family Chapel at 1:00 PM.
