Judith Perry Obituary

Judith Neil Perry was born on May 13, 1943 in Buffalo, New York to Evelyn Ruth Neil and Harry Paul Neil. Judy spent her early years in Buffalo, then moved to Denver in 1958 when her father took a job with the Martin Aircraft Company. She graduated from Englewood High School in 1961. Judy went on to earn an Associate Degree in Registered Nursing from the Community College of Denver in 1978.

Judy’s career in nursing and healthcare was a natural reflection of her compassion for all living things. She worked as a nurse for many years at Swedish Hospital, St. Anthony’s Central Hospital, and Marian Regional Medical Center in California. She also worked as an office administrator for a local eye surgeons’ office and as a home healthcare nurse before retiring.

Judy truly loved Colorado and found great joy in everything the natural world had to offer; from blazing sunsets above the Rockies to subtle sunrises across the plains and the starry nights in between; brilliant sunlight across deep blue skies, booming thunderstorms, and the serene beauty of freshly fallen snow.

She never missed an opportunity to celebrate the milestones in her own life or in the lives of those closest to her. No holiday was too minor to observe and enjoy, and every change of season warranted its own special set of decorations around the house. The accomplishments of her beloved family and friends were always greeted with joy, warmth, and beautifully written cards – so, so many cards!

Dedication to family and friends was the cornerstone of Judy’s life. She poured her heart and soul into her relationships. Always thoughtful, generous, and devoted, Judy was there to join in celebration when times were good and to provide unwavering support and empathy in times of need. Her greatest joy came from bringing joy to those she loved.

Judith was proceeded in death by her beloved brother Paul Neil.

She is survived by her loving family:

Her husband of 27 years, Fay Perry;
