Judith Lee Ude

Judith (Judy) L. Ude, 76, of Littleton, Colorado died October 28, 2019. Judy was born in Chicago, IL, on December 15, 1942 to Ernest and Beatrice Beler. Her family moved to Lincoln, NE. Judy married Paul Ude in 1962 in Lincoln, NE where they lived for 16 years and started a family. In 1978 they relocated to Iowa where they lived until 1984 and then relocated to Littleton, CO.

Judy was known as a devoted mother to her two children, Mark and Amy. In addition, Judy worked as an executive assistant at a dermatology practice. Judy loved to travel and especially loved walks on the beach, dinners at sunset and always made time for shopping.

After the passing of her husband in 2001, Judy spent time with her grandchildren watching them grow, celebrating their academic achievements and was always their number one fan when they participated in softball, basketball, baseball and golf.

In retirement Judy's passion, in addition to her children, grandchildren and brother, was spent with many close friends in the Denver area. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and always made time for coffee or a movie with friends. She walked with the Lord as a Lutheran most of her life and recently found joy attending services with her daughter at Pathmakers Church in Castle Rock, CO.

Survivors include her son Mark; daughter Amy; 5 grandchildren Cora Stallcup, Abby Stallcup, Carson Stallcup, Madison Ude and Jackson Ude; daughter-in-law Sue Ude; son-in-law Waymon Stallcup; brother Sam Beler; and many nieces, nephews and counsins.

A Memorial Open House Gathering will be held from 3:30 - 5:30PM on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Drinkwine Family Mortuary.
