In Loving Memory of Justin Theodore Friesen
January 4, 1977 – June 21, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Justin Theodore Friesen on June 21, 2025, following a courageous battle with depression after the recent loss of his sister and mother. Justin spent 15 days in the ICU, fighting with everything he had to remain here for the sake of his beloved children.
Born in Oakley, Kansas, to Judy Sharon Friesen and Terryl Lee Friesen, Justin was a man who loved deeply and lived for his family. He consistently put the needs of those he loved above his own, and no matter the obstacles he faced, he always found a way to take care of them.
Justin found joy in life’s simplest pleasures—being outdoors, tossing a ball, going camping or hiking, or just sitting and talking with his kids. Time spent with his family was his greatest treasure.
He was married to Mallory Friesen for nearly 14 years, and together they built a beautiful life with their two children. Mallory will carry Justin’s memory forward in every adventure and milestone she shares with their children, as a devoted mother and now a loving widow.
Justin wasn’t one to seek the spotlight, but those who knew him well know that he could light up a room with his presence. It’s in that spirit that we invite friends, family, and loved ones to come together and celebrate Justin’s life in a way he would have loved.
