Karen Meacham Drager

Karen Meacham Drager, 84, of Littleton, Colorado peacefully transitioned into eternal life on April 25, 2023 where she no doubt joined her beloved husband and son.  Karen was born on August 9, 1938 to Edna and Samual Meacham in Richfield Utah.  Karen was the youngest of 8 siblings and enjoyed a rich childhood growing up on a farm in Southern Utah surrounded by endless family and friends. 

Life on the farm included opportunities to spend time with family, spend her days outdoors, and generally live a life rich in experiences and in faith.  Karen attended grade school in Monroe, Utah and graduated from Richfield High School in 1956.  After high school, Karen moved to Salt Lake City where she worked at the Department of Motor Vehicle and where she eventually met the love of her life, Louis Henry Drager.  The two were married in 1963 and then spent a short time in California before settling in Littleton Colorado where they raised 3 children..  

Karen was devoted to her family and spent her free time in service to the community.  For many years she was a Girl Scout Leader, a school volunteer, and held many volunteer positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Karen loved camping and introduced her children to her love of camping and the outdoors from the time they were babies.  She also enjoyed Gardening and crafting.  

Karen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Louis, her infant son Jerry, her parents, and six of her seven siblings (Lavar, Golden, Devern, Layne, Jack, and Gaye).  She was the beloved mother of Steve (Kathryn), Paula (Jeff), and Diana (Quentin); and grandmother to Sierra, Beau, Sophie, Dean, Adele and Jack.  

Karen was a sweet soul with a great sense of humor who spent her life loving and supporting her family.  She will be dearly missed.  

Funeral services and viewing will be held Saturday, May 6th at the LDS Ridge building:  910 W Ridge Rd, Littleton, CO 80120.

Viewing:  9:30 - 10:30

Services: 10:30 immediately followed by the burial at Littleton Cemetery and a luncheon back at the church.
