February 26, 2021 2:22 PMKaren has been a dear friend for almost 50 years, i met her & Dave when they worked in downtown Littleton.. she and I (and often with my Mom) scoured Littleton, Denver for specialty cafes, sometimes seeking out little-known neighborhood places, Andres in Cherry Creek was one of our favorites.
We traveled northern NM, Santa Fe, southwestern Colo, checking out trading posts, ancestral pueblo ruins, tribal art shows (Krissy benefitted often from her Mom’s jewelry buys!)
So many memories, Margaritas and rellenos, i will miss you dearly Karen my friend
Thinking of you Dave and Krissy with love in this difficult time

February 24, 2021 5:24 PMKaren was a great boss, mentor and friend. I will remember her as an adventurer and pursuer of the finer things in life. She encouraged me to travel, even before I had someone to travel with. She always had recommendations for great wines, recipes and restaurants, exhibits and museums, interesting gems/jewelry and other “bobbles.” I will miss meeting her for tacos and raspberry margaritas. Professionally, she always had faith in me and my abilities – which let me stretch myself in ways I might not have otherwise. I already miss her so much.
David and Kristin – I am so sorry for your loss. You will always feel like my extended family. If there’s anything I can do, don’t hesitate to reach out!
