Kathleen Aloha Rodwell

Kathleen A Rodwell, 82 Aurora, Colorado, passed away on April 1,2022 at Cherrelynn Health Care Center in Littleton, Colorado.

Kathleen was born January 22,1940 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She lived in Cheyenne until 1982 when she moved to Colorado.  She worked at “The Phone Company” (Mt. Bell/Qwest/Century Link) for 24 years. After leaving the Phone Company, she ran a Day Care, a youth Baseball League, and eventually worked for The Colorado Rockies (MLB) for over 10 years where she retired. Baseball was her passion and her greatest sense of work accomplishment.  

Kathleen is survived by her 3 children, Eric Rodwell (Tashawna), Robin Kothe (Glenn), and Bryan Rodwell along with 6 grandchildren, Sophia, Morgan, Justin, Joe, Ben, and Courtney, 7 great grandchildren, and 5 great – great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her sister Patricia (McGinley) Burdick and her parents, William (Speck) McGinley and Elizabeth McGinley along with her daughter-in law Melinda (Mindy) Hartman - Rodwell.

A celebration of her life is being planned for summer. In leu of flowers, she would love that you donate to the Denver Children’s Museum.
