Keith Marion Vest was born on January 23, 1936.
Proceeding him in death are his parents Clarence Marion and Rose Mary (Fleece) Vest , his brother Kenneth Vest, and his wife of 50 years, Myrna Adams Vest.
Keith enlisted in the Army in August 1955, then married Lyla Delores Bennett on April 18, 1956 and immediately left for Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Keith had 2 daughters from that marriage, Sharon Ann and Kathleen Marie. After he left the Army, he had a brief time in retail sales before joining Martin Marietta as an engineer where he worked on various projects including the early stages of Titan; and Viking I and II Mars landing programs that landed on Mars in 1976. While at Martin Marietta, he met and married Myrna Adams on Christmas day 1974. Myrna brought 2 sons, Norlan Lee Stevenson and Kyran David Stevenson and a daughter, Amber Eugenia Harris to this union. Through this extended
family, he was a father to 5, grandfather to 8, and great-grandfather to 11.
Keith enjoyed traveling and was active in missionary work in Europe and South America and was a
volunteer for the Red Cross. Keith was a good and honorable family man with a great sense of humor and always ready to help.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Arapahoe Road Baptist Church, 780 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial CO 80122. Burial with military honors to follow at 1:00PM at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
