Kristen Elaine Clendenen

Kristen Elaine Clendenen, 54, of Littleton CO passed away on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023. She was born in Denver, CO on October 20th, 1968, to Robert and Carol Clendenen. She graduated from Overland High School where she enjoyed participating in Color Guard and learning Latin. After nannying on the east coast for her cousin Caralea, Kristen returned to Denver where she started what would turn into a 25-year-long career with Gart Sports/The Sports Authority. When her only daughter Caitlyn started taking ballet lessons, she also took on administrative responsibilities at the Ballet Studio, as well as made various dance costumes for their performances. Kristen loved too many things to list however she found particular joy in her cats, Fred and Milla, and all things involving Doctor Who, Marvel, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Lord of the Rings. She is survived by her daughter Caitlyn, granddaughter Camden, siblings Shari, Lauri, Kim & Robert, and many cousins, nieces & nephews. For those that are interested, a wake will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 1 pm-3 pm at Littleton Ballet Academy, located at 1169 W Littleton Blvd, Littleton CO 80120. The family asks that those that attend wear their brightest and most vibrant colors in memory of Kristen. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that any who wish, too instead make donations to Maxfund Animal Shelter, Denver Colorado.
