In Loving Memory of Kristine “Kris” Lynn Foerstner
October 30, 1969- November 10, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Kristine “Kris” Lynn Foerstner in November, a woman whose warmth, strength, and unwavering love touched everyone she met. She left us too suddenly, but her legacy of care will continue to shine through those she loved and those she helped.
Born and raised in California, Kris moved to Colorado in her early 20s, forging a life of resilience and purpose. As a single mother, she pursued higher education, earning her degree in nursing—an embodiment of her deep compassion and selflessness. Her infectious laugh could light up any room, her tireless spirit inspired those around her, and her generosity knew no bounds. Fiercely protective of the people and animals she loved, Kris was a pillar of strength and kindness in every role she took on—mother, daughter, sister, aunt, animal lover, and friend.
She is survived by her beautiful daughter, her father, her sisters, her niece and nephews, and countless others who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love, her laughter, and her unwavering devotion to her family and patients will never be forgotten.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 12:00-4:00PM at Belleview Park Pavilion #4, 5001 S. Inca Dr. Englewood, CO 80110.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a tree be planted in her name or donations be made in her honor to ASPCA, Aids Healthcare Foundation, or Colorado Homeless Coalition, continuing her legacy of care and compassion.
Rest in peace. You will always be in our hearts.
