Leo John Jankowski, Jr., 74, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Littleton, Colorado.
Born in New York City, Leo was a graduate of Garden City High School, Class of 1970, and moved to Colorado in 1975. He co-founded LAM Tree Service and later, in the early 1980s, founded Colorado Builders (L.J. Built), a custom home design and construction company, where he worked until retirement.
Leo is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joyce (Passamano) Jankowski; son Leo John Jankowski III and his wife, Rachael; granddaughters Roslyn Margaret and Cecelia Marie; sisters Anne Marie Carson and Lorraine Brady; mother-in-law Marilyn Passamano; sister-in-law Alicia Ince and her husband, Shaun; brother-in-law Russell Passamano, Jr. and his wife, Beth; brother-in-law Kit Carson; and many nieces and nephews.
Leo was predeceased by his parents, Nichola (Balbas) and Leo Jankowski, Sr., his sister Barbara Watson; and father-in-law Russell Passamano, Sr.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 10, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 W. Chatfield Ave., Littleton, CO 80128.
