Linda Foster Babcock Obituary

Linda Foster Babcock passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at the age of 77. She was a devoted mother, a deeply loved grandmother and great-grandmother, and a woman whose life was marked by presence, self-sacrifice, and unwavering love. Linda always led with her heart and gave generously of herself to those around her.

Above all else, Linda lived with a deep and abiding faith in her Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Her faith was the foundation of her life, guiding her relationships, her service to others, and the grace with which she faced both joy and hardship. She was a faithful member of Park Hill Baptist Church, where her love for Christ and for others was evident in the way she lived.

Linda was a proud member of the first graduating class of Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado, where she served as class secretary and participated on the drill team. She later attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, studying Spanish for two years.

After her time at the University of Colorado, Linda held the title of Miss Littleton and later placed third runner-up in the Miss Colorado pageant, honors that reflected her grace, confidence, and character.

She went on to embark on a career as a Pan Am stewardess in the 1970s, an experience that ignited her lifelong love of travel and adventure.

She later married and became the mother of two children, Katherine Nicole Babcock and Kevin Christopher Kronbach, who were the great joy and focus of her life. Following her divorce, Linda built a successful career in administration, working for several cable technology companies while remaining fully devoted to her family.

In 1998, Linda married Norman J. Babcock, and together they shared 14 years of love, partnership, and extraordinary adventure until his passing in 2012. During this chapter of her life, Linda discovered one of her greatest passions—long-distance motorcycle riding. Beginning at age 48, she logged more than 400,000 miles riding BMW motorcycles. Her travels took her around the world, including an epic journey riding from the southern tip of South America to the northern reaches of North America. She completed multiple Iron Butt endurance rides, including an extraordinary 11,000 miles in 11 days.

Linda was a proud and loving grandmother to Evan Foster Babcock, Alexander Macade Babcock, and Rebecca Celeste Babcock, as well as Sidney Rose Kronbach, Pearson Christopher Kronbach, Eva Carlton Kronbach, Harvey Foster Kronbach, Audrey Marie Kronbach, Lily Mauve Kronbach, and Sophie Louis Kronbach. She was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to Aiden Jace Smith and Evangeline Katherine Babcock.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother Ed Foster and his wife Susan Foster, extended family, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Carole Foster.

Linda’s life was defined by courage, curiosity, faith, and love. She was always present, always giving, and always thinking of others before herself. She lived fully, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy that will endure for generations.

Linda now rests asleep in Christ, awaiting the resurrection and the glorious promise of eternal life.
