Lori was born in New York to Ellen Anderson. She spent her childhood with her sister Linda in Newport, Rhode Island and they moved around a lot in the New England area due to her father's profession. As she got older, she became a Medical Technician and lived in Greenwich, Connecticut. She developed a wanderlust and with a friend moved out to Denver where she met her husband Thomas at a party and they soon started a family and moved to Des Moines, Iowa. In 1969 they moved up to Evergreen, Colorado where they grew and raised their family and lived for over 50 years. During that time, she pursued a talent in art creating Timberline Arts and Crafts in Frisco Colorado, as well as being a part of the local Evergreen Artists Association. She also advanced her pursuit of knowledge by achieving a Masters Degree of Biology in Botany. She was a physically active gardener and hiker, enjoyed the outdoors and traveled extensively with her husband Tom, exploring the world and enjoying its wonders. She treated people fairly and honestly with an open mind and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. She raised her three boys; Kevin, Eric and Jeffery, with a balanced hand, giving them freedom to grow into the persons they could be. She is survived by all her grown children and grandchildren (Izabelle, Aiden and Wren), and her sister Linda Osterlind. Preceded in death by her daughter in-law Erica Moeller (Jeff's wife).
A Celebration of Lori's Life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 19, 2025 at Drinkwine Family Mortuary.
