Louie Trigg Obituary

Louie Joe Trigg, known to all simply as Joe, passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 74. Joe was born on May 15, 1951, in Oklahoma. He was the oldest of six children and was raised by his beloved grandparents, Eli and Lilly Trigg, in Pablo, Colorado. From a young age, Joe found joy in the simple things—especially fishing. He didn’t need fancy gear; just a stick, a piece of line, a hook, and a worm were enough to keep him happy by the water. Those quiet moments reflected the kind of man Joe was: humble, patient, and content with life’s simple pleasures.

Joe left school at an early age to begin working and supporting himself. He spent his life as a hardworking blue-collar man, working in the oil fields of Wyoming, as a carpenter in Colorado, and dedicating 35 years of service to King Soopers. Joe took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.

Above all else, Joe loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband, a loving father of five children, and a proud grandfather to six grandchildren who could always depend on him. His steady presence, quiet strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed.

Joe is survived by his wife, Kathy; his children, Joey, Jason, Sarah, Nathan, and Andrew; and his grandchildren, Scarlett, Stella, Sadie, Noah, Zoey, and Eli.

A funeral service will be held on January 15, 2026, 1:00pm at Mission Hills Church, 620 Southpark Dr, Littleton, CO 80120. In lieu of flowers, service donations would be greatly appreciated. You can donate via Zelle to kathytrigg2995@gmail.com. There will also be a donation box available at the service.

Joe will forever remain in our hearts.
