Every morning I wake up with a gut wrenching indescribable pain & hurt of a daily realization that I do not get to hold my beautiful baby boy in my arms again. Malachi through all the pain and hurt he had to endure in his young life, had the Spirit of Christ. He was so loving, no matter what you did to Mali he just kept loving you; he couldn't help himself, it was just who he was. Where ever he went instead of carrying his burdens on his shoulders he brought joy, always wanting to see people laugh or smile. He brought peace, when negative things were thrown at him, whether it were words or things people did; he would try to walk away and cry in my arms an tell me. He would ask why are people like that mom?...He was long-suffering, despite the pain that he had to endure he continued to love everyone and kept no malice in his heart. He was gentle, full of goodness and had faith that God would see him through. He was selfless, always concerned about how his mom was doing and how he could help me. He loved his family so much, and legos were his life! He was the easiest child and he clung to me with an indescribable love, as unworthy as I was. He said to me a couple weeks ago "Mom you have a good heart", but his heart was so much better than mine. The only way I am coping with this, is by a moment by moment dependency on God. I know that God loved Mali with an everlasting love and has taken Malachi at this time to preserve him for His kingdom. Malachi was spiritually ready, he had a character that was truly Christ-like. God took the best of the King family, he did not have to suffer in his death and when he wakes up there will be no remembrance of pain. He will wake up in the arms of his Heavenly Father and see the the joy on my face, when we all get to heaven. The reality, is the enemy has waged war with me and thought that he was doing something, but what he doesn't know is the day he killed my child is the day he secured Malachi's seat in heaven my seat in heaven and so many others. He lit the fire. Vengeance is mine saith the Lord. When you go home to your children and embrace them in your arm, please say a prayer for me. "Naked I came out of my mother's womb and naked shall I return, the Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Though I suffer, yet will I trust Him.
