Marjorie M. Taylor

Marjorie Moats Taylor passed away at home peacefully in her sleep with her children at her bedside after a brief illness. Always the caregiver, she worried her children were not eating properly while attending to her.

She enjoyed meeting new people. It did not take long after encountering someone for her to learn their name, birthday and favorite flavor of ice cream. Dining out and traveling were her favorite pastimes where, of course, she would meet new people.

Marjorie grew up in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and excelled in swimming and socializing. She went off to college and met the love of her life, Francis Richard Taylor who passed away last September. They were known as awesome ballroom dancers after moving to Colorado. She obtained a degree in education and became an elementary school teacher until she had children of her own to instruct.

She is survived by her children, Susan, Richard, Joan and son-in-law Jeff; two granddaughters Erin and Anne and grandson-in-law Trent; and great-grandson Lane. Also surviving her are two brothers-in-law and numerous nephews and nieces.
