Marjorie Ellen Scott Meadows Forsyth

FORSYTH – Marjorie Ellen Scott Meadows, 90, of Great Falls, MT passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023 in Littleton, CO. She was born in Great Falls, MT to Gerald Scott and Gertrude Watson Scott Johnson in 1932. She attended Great Falls High School and graduated in 1950. Marjorie was passionate about cookbooks, antiques, genealogy, and following the news of the British Royal Family. 

Marjorie married her high school sweetheart, William B. Forsyth, in 1998, fifty years to the week that they had first met at a 1948 school function. They eloped in Great Falls, MT at the local courthouse and spent the next 21 years happily married, traveling the world together and exploring antique stores, bookstores and her beloved Salvation Army until his passing in July 2020. 

Marjorie is survived by her two children: Nancy Meadows of Highlands Ranch, CO and Larry Meadows of Denver, CO and his daughters, Angela and Elizabeth. A celebration of her life will be held on April 23, 2023 from 12 noon to 4:00 PM at her daughter's home, 492 English Sparrow Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. Marjorie will be buried at Highlands Cemetery in Great Falls, MT next to the love of her life, Bill Forsyth, in the summer of 2023.
