Mark Wayne Boyts

Mark Wayne Boyts passed away on October 9, 2023.  He was born to L. Wayne and Marjorie (Schade) Boyts on December 12, 1946 in Madison WI.  After spending his formative years in St. Joseph MO, he graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.  His engineering career spanned 43 years with numerous projects in power generation and distribution.  He was a Registered Professional Engineer in 21 states and a Lifetime Member of IEEE.

He married Marilyn Starman on September 3, 1972 in Manito IL.  They were married for over 50 years.  They have been longtime residents of Littleton.  They have two sons:  Eric Ryan and Adam Bryan.  Eric is married to Mellissa and has two children--Elayna and Ethen.  Adam is married to Kimberly and has a daughter, Cora.

Mark attended Mission Hills Church.  He enjoyed golf, sudoku, reading mystery books and cheering for the Avalanche.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Nov. 17th at 11:00 AM at Drinkwine Reception Hall.
