Mark Thomas Soiney, 65, of Littleton passed away June 12, 2021 after a long battle with a debilitating disease. He was preceded in death by his parents Marguerite and Elmer Soiney. He was born in Caledonia, Minnesota, he is survived by his wife Jerri (JerBear), sister Elaine Brookfield, brother Larry Soiney (Anna), nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, daughters, grandsons, and countless friends. After a visit to Colorado to see his sister in 1972 he decided to make Colorado his home. He became a skilled tradesman. In 1979 he founded M&S Framing due to his passion for carpentry where he specialized in building custom homes. He retired from framing in 2013 due to his illness. His great love for the outdoors included camping, skiing and golfing. Although he made Colorado his home he remained an avid Minnesota sports fan, especially the Minnesota Vikings. Mark enjoyed watching a variety of sports which included the Colorado Rockies, Avalanche and the Denver Broncos. Mark also liked spending time with his family and friends at home and therefore became known as "The Settler."
