Obituary
Martha "Marty" Elizabeth Bang, was born 7-21-1931 in Decatur, Illinois and died 7-24-2023 at home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Attended the University of Illinois, member of Kappa Delta Sorority where she met Martin Bang (also Marty). They married 9-21-52. Beloved wife of the late Martin A. Bang, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Survived by daughter, Susie (Phil) Kleinman; son, Gary (Karen) Bang; four grandchildren, Sarah Kleinman, Jessica (Nicholas) Wolf, Rachel (Kyle) Koth and Taylor (Jamie Mulry) Bang; five great-grandchildren, Keira and Flynn Wolf, Zoe King and Abraham Koth, and Atlas Mulry Bang.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd, Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 12 noon, staging area "A". - Please meet at 11:15 A.M., August 2, 2023 at Drinkwine Family Mortuary to follow in procession (999 W. Littleton Blvd., Littleton, CO 80120). We will leave promptly at 11:30 A.M.
Celebration of Life Reception to follow from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Wind Crest Retirement Community, 3235 Mill Vista Road, Highlands Ranch, CO in The Colorado Clubhouse, Bierstadt Terrace Card Room, (8655 Flying B Way). Directions to The Colorado Clubhouse will be given at Wind Crest’s main entrance.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your charity of choice or Berkley Hospice in Marty's name and memory.
