Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister Diane entered into eternal rest on February 19, 2025 at the age of 80 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She is survived by John, her husband of 45 years, her brother Doug (Kathy), her children Tammy (Sean), Cindy (Brian), Mike (Luziane) and Annie (John) and her grandchildren Ryan, Jacob, Brendan, Mollie, Katie, Libby, Courtney and Megan. She fought valiantly against a debilitating disease all the while she smiled, laughed and walked until the end. She was a favorite resident at her memory facility and we are so grateful for the love and care she received by the staff there.
Diane was born in Nebraska, raised in California and graduated from Oregon State University. In 1979, she married her soulmate John, with whom she built a loving blended family. She worked at home, Littleton High School and Children’s World where she could share her love and kindness with others.
Diane was always on the go and constantly working on various projects. She was a talented seamstress and often made clothes for herself including her own wedding gown as well as clothes and costumes for the kids. She loved spending time traveling, at our cabin in the mountains, on adventures with their ATV club and with her family and friends. We will miss her beautiful smile and her great sense of humor. Family gatherings were filled with laughter, practical jokes, and storytelling, with Diane in the middle of the shenanigans. We plan to honor her by continuing to laugh, telling slightly inappropriate jokes and taking care of each other as she always did for us.
Diane will be laid to rest at Littleton Cemetery during a private ceremony. We kindly ask that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society in her name. - https://alz.org https://www.cancer.org
