Mary Jane Grant

Mary Jane “M.J.” (McBride) Grant, 62, of Denver, CO passed away 11/1/21.

She was born 10/21/59 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Matthew McBride and Eleanore Thompson McBride. She was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School and attended Colorado University in Boulder.

Mary Jane is survived by her son Jason Grant (Beth Long), brother Kevin McBride, sister Karen (Frank Thayer) McBride-Thayer, nephew Anton (Laurie) Kilgore, twin nieces Molly Thayer, Eleanore Thayer (Niles Cannon), grandnephews Ethan, Clayton, Donathan, Demetrius, grandniece Angel, Aunt Allene Thompson (Brad Evans) Evans, cousins Brad, Barrett (Jeannie), Darryl (Mary Lee), first cousins once removed Sam, Karter, Will and Addie.

Among the many things Mary Jane had enjoyed in her life were spending time with her family and friends, traveling, fostering rescued dogs, and time spent in our mountains. She was proud of her work with The Denver Rescue Mission.

Her family and friends will hold dear the memories of her love and wonderful sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.

The service will be taking place at Saint Philip and Saint James Episcopal Church on Sat., November 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM.
