Melanie Boynton of Littleton, Colorado quietly passed away on April 8, she was 78. Melanie was born in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec on May 29, 1941. She had been a resident of her adopted home of Denver for more than 25 years.
Melanie was a dear friend loved by family and friends who were blessed to know her. Spending time with her friends always brought her great joy. Enjoying dinner or just spending time together at her home was one of her favorite activities. Melanie was a great cat lover and was adopted by many of the “Furry Ones” over the years.
She had always been very active skiing, cooking, skating, playing golf, playing bridge and traveling. Her endless energy and passion drove her to always be busy with those she loved. The joy she felt while skiing in the mountains of Colorado brought her here from Ohio where she had spent most of her working career with IBM.
Melanie will be dearly missed for the gifts she gave each of us with her presence.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League or the cat friendly animal shelter of your choosing in remembrance of Melanie Boynton.
