Michael Lee McComas

Michael Lee McComas departed this world on August 12, 2019 at Life Center of Littleton.
Michael was born February 17, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland.  He graduated from Calvert Hall in Baltimore in 1972 and joined the Maryland Air National Guard.  Michael joined his family in Denver in 1973.  He retired from Qwest in 2008.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence B. McComas, Jr and Therese F. Haberlander McComas, brother Kevin J. McComas and nephew Phillip D. Fuson.  

He is survived by his loving family, sister Jeanne Fuson, brothers Mark, John and Stephen, brother-in-law Ray Fuson, sisters-in-law Jenny and Carla McComas, dearest friend Melissa Childers, nephews Keith and Darren Fuson, Cairns McComas, nieces Sadie (Jay) Southard, Hanna (Derek) Lucero, Danielle Fuson, Fiona, Jessica and Holly McComas, great niece Annabelle Lucero and great nephew Kacen Fuson.

Michael was much loved by many and his sense of humor and sometimes caustic sarcasm was appreciated by all.  He was surrounded by family and friends through to the end.  We love you Michael and will miss you sorely.

The Celebration of Michael's life will be held on Monday, September 16th at 4:00 PM at Drinkwine Family Mortuary.  A reception will follow at Los Dos Portrillos restaurant at 10065 W. San Juan Way, Littleton, Colorado at 6:00 PM.
