Michael Robert Morton “Mick”, 67, of Littleton, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 14, 2021. He was born on October 27, 1953 to Bob and Jo Morton in Denver, Colorado. Mick graduated high school from Broomfield, Colorado. He had a successful career in the recreation industry, managing bowling and recreation centers. Mick retired in 2016 after 40+ years of service.
July 4, 1992 he married the love of his life Carla “Feely” Morton. They made their home in Littleton, Colorado. From an early age, Mick proved he could accomplish anything he set his mind to, which led to lettering in sports in high school, winning the state golf championship in 1971 and the most memorable and exciting event was winning the first annual High Rollers Bowling Tournament in Las Vegas, NV.
Mick enjoyed spending time with Carla golfing, bowling, traveling, playing bridge and various games. He also looked forward to his yearly fishing trips with his son’s Daniel and David, his Dad Bob, brother Dan and nephews, in Meeker, Colorado at Sleepy Cat Ranch.
Not only was Mick a sensitive and kind hearted person, but he had the ability to bring joy and laughter to family, friends, neighbors and all those around him. If you knew Mick, everything was “Justice”.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Bob and Jo Morton. Mick will be forever loved, always missed and never forgotten by his wife Carla, children; Ryan, Chad, Daniel (Mallory), and David (Samantha). Grandchildren; Rose, Emma, Wyatt and Keana. Siblings; Dan, (Traci) Morton, Rohn (Vivian) Morton and Kathy (Bobby) Wells. Mother-in-law; Betty Spadi, In laws; Jenay (Ed) Whitney, Debbra (Ron) Rodgers, Richard Spadi, Beverly Spadi, Pauline Ross, Annette (Derrel) Schneider, Becky (Paul) Duncan, Barbara Spadi, Kenneth Spadi. Aunts; Angie Weiman and Midge Ball.
