Nancy was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on January 18, 1955 to the Eversole family which included father James, mother Gloria, brother John (Johnny), and sister Mary. Nancy lived with her family in a rural setting all through her school years, and a few years after, where she studied to be a medical assistant and was employed by a local optometrist.
In the mid-70’s Nancy met her future husband, Roger Inbody, through their participation in a local Free Methodist church in Terre Haute. At the time Roger was enrolled in an engineering school, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute. After dating a few years, the two were married in 1976. After getting married, and Roger’s graduation, they continued to live in Terre Haute, but the call of a job change for Roger led them to Sioux City, Iowa where they lived several years. Both of their children, Sarah (1983) and David (1985) were born in Iowa. In the late 1980’s Nancy’s family moved to Colorado, where they have lived in Littleton ever since. Nancy eventually became employed as a recording assistant and later as a registrar with the Littleton School District. She retired at the end of the school year in 2023, with 30 years of experience.
Nancy had an extreme love for travel, camping, and hiking. Over the most recent years she had taken many international trips to Europe, France, England and several other locations. She loved to see and experience the world! After retiring in the summer of 2023, she set out on a group organized trip to Italy during the month of October. Upon returning, she began to experience some medical issues, starting with internal gastro-intestinal infections, which gradually expanded to other issues. In the spring of 2024, she was taken to the ER several times, but no conclusive diagnosis was determined. The situation progressed to hospital admittance in early July, which continued through August and September, with a diagnosis of AL Amyloidosis. Nancy passed away on September 27, 2024. Nancy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Roger, daughter Sarah, son David, brother Johnny, and sister Mary.
Everyone loved Nancy, and many of her friends from LPS, and the Halmark store, where she had a part time job, visited her frequently throughout her hospital stay. She extends thanks to all who supported her through life ending health issues.
