Naomi Loomis, a woman of deep and abiding faith, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to God, her servant’s heart, and the constant care and encouragement she gave to those she loved.
Naomi was born in Little River, Kansas, to Guy and Rena Pentico. From a young age, she developed a strong faith that would guide her throughout her life. Her desire to serve others was evident in everything she did, always seeking ways to help and uplift those around her.
She began her career as a beautician, where she enjoyed connecting with people and bringing joy to others. She later worked for Southwestern Bell, Mountain Bell, and ultimately retired from AT&T after many years of dedicated service.
Naomi’s greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly survived by her three daughters: Kathy (Sevier) Battershell and her husband Montie of Hutchinson, Kansas; Sandy (Sevier) Hull of Lincoln, Kansas; and Kim (Sevier) Wermerskirchen and her husband David of Centennial, Colorado. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Her love for her family was constant and evident. She delighted in time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to ask about their lives. Her greatest wish was that each of them would come to know God and walk in faith.
Naomi will be remembered as a woman whose life reflected her deep love for God, her steadfast faith, and her unwavering support for her family. Her legacy lives on in the generations she so dearly loved and prayed for.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Naomi will be laid to rest with Preston at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
