Norma Jean Sumption

Norma Jean Sumption, 67, of Littleton Colorado passed away on May 10, 2022. Norma was born on August 3, 1954, in Miami Florida to parents Donald K. Mefford and Joanne E. Dornberger. 

Norma attended Lakewood High School and obtained an Associates Degree in Accounting from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado. She met the love of her life, Frank Sumption, Sr. and was married in Raton New Mexico on May 20, 1972.  She worked as a food service manager in the Jefferson Colorado Public Schools.

Norma loved adventures which included being an Army wife for 9 years, camping, fishing, boating on Lake Powell, and family gatherings. 

Norma is predeceased by her husband, Frank Sumption, Sr. She is survived by son Bill Mefford and daughter-in-law Sarah Mefford and granddaughters Savannah and Sereniti Mefford; son Chad Sumption and grandsons Seth Sumption and Alex Bender. 

Memorial Service to be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. She will be laid to rest at a later date with her husband Frank at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
