June 13, 1938 ~ August 25, 2021 (age 83)

Paul B Cox, 83, passed away from COPD on Wednesday August 25 at his home in Littleton, CO.  He was born on June13, 1938 in Hollywood, CA, the son of Paul and Margaret (nee Westgard) Cox.

Paul is survived by Sandra Cox, the love of his life and wife of  37  years, as well as her family.  He also leaves Michael Cox,  brother, and sister Liz Wood (Tom).  According to Ancestry. com, he leaves two sons - Scott Cox (Cindy) and Steve Hawkins.  Also survived by nephew Paul Westgard Cox and grandchildren Kelly Cox- Ragno and Cody Cox.  Sadie, his beloved dog, also survives him.

He was an all-city track star in the high and  low hurdles in  High School

Paul's working career started at an early age on the set of The Little Rascals.  He joined the Navy after his High School graduation.  In his civilian life, he found his niche working for Mardquart., Ocean Technologies and Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin).  Among other jobs at Martin Marietta, he worked on the Titan program.

He loved sports;  in the late 70's he came up with what we believe is the first Fantasy Football League,  Why didn't he leverage that into a fortune?!  He was the first true Commissioner of the Fantasy Football League.

Paul was clever and witty;  a jokester who loved to make people laugh. He was a well known partier and fond of his drink.  He was loved and revered by all, He would want all us to remember him for the good times he brought.

You have touched all of us, Paul, and left your  print in the fabric of who we are.  Rest easy, Commish;  you will be missed but not forgotten.

Because of the current COVID surge, a celebration of his life will be held in the summer of 2022.
