Richard (Rich) Aylsworth, 9/20/1935 - 7/26/2021

Survived by Norma, his wife of 67 years; daughters, Deb, Chris (Bob), Diane (Dave), Pam (Todd), 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Richard was born in Perry, Iowa but spent most of his life in Colorado. He was a member in the National Guard at Fort Carson, in Colo. Springs. He began his career at Mountain Bell as a pole climber. The company transferred him to Denver in 1967, he retired as District Manager of several states in 1985. 

He then earned his CPA through H&R Block and started his own income tax business which he ran for several years.

Rich was Past Master of Masonic Lodge #68 of Manitou Springs. 

His hobbies included golfing and his grandchildren! He was a long time member of Southglenn Country Club, where he also served on the board. He was an avid reader and worked crossword puzzles. 

He loved life and had a contagious laughter.

He passed peacefully surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ken, mother, Fil, and brother, Bob.

Memorial service is August 8, 2021, 2:00 p.m. St Andrew United Methodist Church, 9203 S University, Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO 80126. Open house Celebration of Life to follow the service at Southglenn Country Club, 1489 E Easter Ave, Centennial, CO 80120, 3:30 - 5:30.
