Robert V. Doty

Doty, Robert Velor, 97, died January 3, 2025 at Someren Glen Continuing Care Community.

He was hatched at Hatcher Hospital in Wellington, KS on September 25,1927. He graduated from high school in Pahuska, Oklahoma and enlisted in the US Navy in 1945 continuing in the Naval Reserve until 1970, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He attended Oklahoma A&M University where he met his bride of sixty years, Bertha Juanita Bankston who proceeded him in death. He spent his career in the Oil and Gas Industry working in Oklahoma, Colorado and Wyoming.  He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Lugenbill (Jay), son Roger Doty, four grandchildren Emma Lugenbill,  Grace Lugenbill, Hannah Doty and Nathan Doty.

Interment services are at Ft Logan Cemetery on January 24, 2025 at 11:30AM, Staging Area B.
