Robin Marie Charlsen passed away on November 24, 2025, in Littleton, Colorado. She was born on September 1, 1953, in Harvey, Illinois, to Jack and Marilyn Fitzgerald. After attending St. Joseph’s College in Indiana, Robin moved to Denver, Colorado, where she built a life filled with love, friendship, and creativity.
In 1997, Robin married the love of her life, Tim Charlsen, who cherished her deeply. She is survived by her devoted husband; her brother, John Fitzgerald, and his wife, Pam; her sister, Denise Cassino; her nephew, Jack Fitzgerald, and his wife, Carry, along with their children, Riley, Jackson, and Katie; and her nieces, Shelley Resseguie and her husband, Randall, and Katie Marsh and her husband, Jeff, with their children, Jacob, Jared, and McKenzie.
Robin enjoyed a long and successful career in both the legal and mining fields. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was known for her kind heart and radiant spirit, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her humor, wit, and intelligence were among her greatest gifts, and she lived with a generosity of spirit that welcomed everyone.
A lifelong music aficionada, Robin curated a legendary collection, though her heart belonged to the Beatles—whom she was fortunate to see live at Comiskey Park in Chicago. She was also a true patriot, following politics with passion and conviction. Her creativity shone brightly throughout her life, from childhood artistry to her talent in interior design and personal style.
Robin will be remembered as a shining light, a woman of warmth, intelligence, and boundless creativity. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created and the love she shared.
