Obituary
Sam Conrardy, 77, of Englewood, Colorado passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023 surrounded by his family. Sam was born in Garden City, Kansas to Anthony and Rose Conrardy on August 13, 1946. Sam’s family moved to the Denver area as a young boy. He attended Machebeuf elementary and Englewood High School where he met the love of his life, Susie Ogle. Sam and Susie met in Mr. Roger’s classroom and married shortly after graduation. It’s safe to say the only way Sam got through high school was because of Susie’s help – he much preferred to draw and create things than do homework! Sam started his career in Tool and Die Fabrication and was fortunate enough to be a part of the team that fabricated a part for the camera that went to the moon! Sam loved working on old cars and was an amazing craftsman – he could make anything out of a block of wood. He and Susie had wonderful trips with family and friends and enjoyed splitting their time between Englewood, CO and Lake Havasu City, AZ. He is survived by his wife, Susie Ogle-Conrardy, daughter Shellee Conrardy, son Darrin Conrardy, sister LouEtta Maus, brother Leland Conrardy, brother Keith (Christy) Conrardy and many, many nieces and nephews. We will miss his great smile and his feisty spirit – he will be dearly missed!
