Samuel Gene Murray

Samuel Gene Murray, of Sheridan, Colorado passed away on October 24th, 2024, at the age of 78 surrounded by loved ones.

Sam was a wonderful father and a caring husband.  He was a loving grandfather, brother, and friend.  He will be missed dearly.

Sam had a love for classic cars and in his younger years, a life full of adventure.  Once he met Theresa, he fell in love.  They decided to settle down in Sheridan, Colorado where they found a home to start a family and raise their children. 

Sam enjoyed taking daily walks on the Platte River bike path and had a love for animals of all shapes and sizes.  He shared in his father’s strong belief in helping people the best he could and opened his home to many individuals who needed a safe warm place to stay. 

Sam is survived by his son Jason (Bonnie), daughter Jessica (Jeff), daughter Alicia (Ryan), and grandsons Finley and Samuel.  He is also survived by sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, friends, and many other loved ones.

A viewing and visitation will be held at 10 o’clock am at All Saints Catholic Church on November 12th, 2024.  This will be followed by a funeral mass at 11 o’clock am.  Interment will be at Littleton Cemetery at 2 o’clock pm.
