Sharon Kay Karr

Sharon Kay (Guinn) Karr passed away peacefully September 4, 2024. Sharon was born June 12, 1941, in Atchison, Kansas. She grew up in St Joseph, Missouri where she fell in love and married Ira (Junior) Karr. The loving couple moved to Colorado as newlyweds, spending the rest of their adult lives loving and serving the Littleton/Centennial community. Sharon worked in Littleton Public Schools and Arapahoe Credit Union. She was active in her church, Swedish Medical Center as a volunteer, and enjoying her family and friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by husband Ira B Karr, parents Howard R and Olive E Guinn as well as sisters Darlene, Velma, and Linda. She is survived by sisters Gloria, Carolyn, and Mary Evelyn, son Bruce and his wife Chrisann, son Derek and his wife Annie, grandchildren Nathan, Eleanor, Catherine, Hoyt, and Finley.

Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held 10:30 am September 21, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church of Englewood.
