Sheila C. Savage

Sheila Christensen Savage passed away peacefully at her home in Centennial, Colorado, on September 17, 2024, at the age of 82.  She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, survived by her two children, Jennifer and Michael, and her two beloved grandchildren, Natalie and Nora. 

Sheila was a remarkable woman who made friends wherever she went. Her warmth and kindness were felt by all who crossed her path, and she always cared deeply about the comfort and well-being of those around her. Whether with neighbors, colleagues, or acquaintances, Sheila's genuine interest in others formed lasting bonds that enriched her life and the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. 

An accomplished athlete in her youth, Sheila excelled in swimming, golf, and tennis, and she continued to enjoy golf long into her retirement. After graduating from the University of Maryland, Sheila had two careers, first as a teacher and later as a successful real estate agent. The latter allowed her to put her children through college, a feat of which she was enormously proud.

Sheila’s happiest moments were spent with those she loved, sharing laughter, stories, and treasured memories. Her unique sense of humor never failed to bring smiles to those around her. Sheila’s love for her family was boundless, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that Sheila lived a full and vibrant life, filled with love, friendship, and joy. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Drinkwine Family Chapel with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
