Sue M. McNamara

Sue M McNamara passed away on May 28th at the age of 88. Sue was born on October 30, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She grew up loving the Wisconsin Badgers, which is where she ended up continuing the legacy and going to college for a degree in Business. At the University of Wisconsin is where she ended up meeting the love of her life, William (Bill) McNamara.

Sue was a Delta Gamma at the University of Wisconsin, which is where she met Bill through Greek life, and would later get pinned, then married to Bill on February, 2nd 1957 in Milwaukee. Bill and Sue had 3 boys together throughout their 65 years of marriage; Bob, John, and Tom. They worked their way to Colorado throughout the various locations they lived, where they eventually bought their dream home in Littleton, Colorado. They shared their love with their boys for many things such as skiing, tennis, golf and traveling. Sue and Bill traveled all over the world with their tennis group, and made many life long friends through these travels.

Along with staying busy with all of her activities, especially with Columbine Country Club, Sue also stayed busy with her 10 grandchildren. She captured every moment throughout the years, which you can see with the many photo albums of her family she collected. Sue loved being close to family in Littleton, but also loved her time in Arizona in the winters over the years.

Sue will be missed and remembered by all of her family and close friends. She said that she did not want to have a big celebration of her life after she passed, but she has too many people that loved her to not celebrate her long and beautiful life.

Sue is survived by her three sons; Bob (Jeanne) McNamara, John (Martha) McNamara, and Tom McNamara. Grandchildren; Michelle, Kyle, Kelly, Chase, Nikki, Dillon, Parker, Megan, Cole, and Emily. Great Grandchildren; Landon, Miles, and Ellie. Brother; Tom Mellencamp.

Funeral will be private, family only.

Celebration of Life will be on June 24th at 12:30pm at: 4683 Tule Lake Dr., Littleton, 80123 (Casual dress attire)
