Susan Margaret Brace

Susan Brace 70 of Lakewood passed away July 18, 2021. Born in Hays Kansas February 16, 1951 daughter of the late Tony and Agnes Wasinger. Survived by her husband, Roy Brace, sisters Helen Dukes and Louise McDonald, brother Joe, sisters in law Joyce, Gail and Rex, brothers in law Mike McDonald and Wimpy. Preceded in death by brothers Bob, Jim and Rich

Sue completed her nursing education in the US Navy attaining the rank of Lieutenant. She served as a charge nurse aboard the USS Repose. After an honorable discharge from the Navy she worked as a circulating nurse, charge  nurse and eventually moving the operating room as an operating room nurse.

Sue’s generosity, willingness to help others and her warm loving spirit for everyone will truly be missed. She was my angel, my confidant and the love of my life.
