Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Suzanne passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024 at 89 years old. She is survived by her three sons Matthew (Paula), Eric (Liz) and Sean (Tammy), her six grandchildren Maria (Shiva), Lara, Elena, Ryan, Jacob and Brendan and her two great-grandsons Charlie and Raja. She is preceded in death by her husband Duane.
She was born and raised in Madison, WI, and was a lifelong Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers fan. She has loved living in her adopted state of Colorado for the last 60 plus years and not only learned how to grow a beautiful garden in an unforgivingly dry climate but has cheered her beloved Denver Broncos since their inception. Suzanne and Duane were married in Germany in 1955 while he was stationed abroad and the Schneider Family Adventure began.
Mom, we all thank you for your caring, your unconditional love, and your humor. We thank you for faithfully watching us and supporting us in our various endeavors throughout our lives. We appreciate every baseball game, track meet and play you attended. Matthew would particularly like to thank you for adopting him and giving him a loving home. Rest in peace mom, and as you always said “onward and upward”.
Suzanne will join Duane at Ft. Logan National Cemetery during a private ceremony. Because of her great love of animals we ask that in lieu of flowers a donation in her name be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League - https://www.ddfl.org
