Tatum Ethridge Obituary

With profound sorrow and enduring love, we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, friend, and family member, Tatum Hunter Ethridge, born on April 30, 2005, and passed peacefully on March 19, 2026, after a grueling battle with cancer.

Tatum was a remarkable young man whose life touched more people than words can fully express. He was a devoted son to his father, Jerry, his mother, Christina, and his stepmother, Jodi. He was also a proud and caring brother to his sister, Payton, whom he loved deeply. While our family is heartbroken by this loss, we remain deeply grateful for the time we were blessed to share with him.

Tatum possessed a spirit that could brighten any room. He was a man of faith and believed everything happens for a reason. He cherished time spent with his friends—especially playing games, laughing, and simply being together with Zach and many others who meant so much to him. He also shared close and meaningful friendships with Ian and Ben, which brought him great joy throughout his life.

He had a strong appreciation for the outdoors and found peace in life’s simple pleasures. Tatum enjoyed shooting his bow, fishing, paddleboarding, gaming with friends, and living in the moment. Baseball was one of his greatest passions, and among our most treasured memories is the day he pitched a no-hitter during a tournament. His team lifted him onto their shoulders, celebrating not only the victory, but the exceptional young man he was. It is a moment we will forever hold close to our hearts.

Tatum was deeply connected to those he loved, including his beloved English Mastiff, Brooklyn, with whom we find comfort in believing he is now reunited.

Above all, Tatum will be remembered for his character. He was sincere, honest, and kind—a young man who genuinely wished the best for everyone around him. He loved deeply, especially his mother, whom he admired for her strength and perseverance through her own health battles. His compassion and loyalty defined who he was.

We know there are countless memories and moments that cannot be captured in words, as one message could never fully reflect the impact of his life. What remains certain is that Tatum was an extraordinary young man who made the world better simply by being in it.

Though our hearts are broken, we find peace in knowing he is no longer suffering.

We love you always, Tatum.

You will forever remain in our hearts—our son, our brother, and our greatest blessing.

We will be holding a celebration of life for our son on April 4th, 2026 at 1PM.  - 13198 West Berry drive Littleton Colorado 80127.

We will have food and snacks and beverages as we celebrate the life of Tatum Hunter Ethridge

Note: please do not park in the neighbor's driveway or in front of their driveway. I'm sorry I have to say this but this has happened lately and I want to make sure I'm not out directing traffic. Had to throw a little humor into the sad post.
