Willie Frazier II Obituary

Chief Master Sergeant Willie H. Frazier II, 51 of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on June 22, 2024. He was born in Los Angeles, California on January 10, 1973 to Willie H. Frazier and Janet Jeter.  Frazier is survived by his wife, Terasia; son, Evan; sisters, Cathy and Mary; and brother, Tony. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sedia, and his parents, Willie and Janet.

Frazier grew up in Southern California and after graduation from high school enlisted in the United States Air Force on March 22,1994. He steadily made his way to meet his goal and was promoted to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant on May 1, 2018. Frazier transferred to the United States Space Force on December 18, 2020, where he continued to blazen his path and embody his vision of being the best Chief he could be, not only for the United States Space Force but also for its people. Chief’s impact on his nation is vast, deep, and profound.

Frazier was an amazing husband who placed Terasia on a pedestal from the first night they met in Minot, North Dakota in 1999. He loved her from day one, giving her his gold chain with the gold guess symbol as a reminder that she was his “girlie”, forever and always. Terasia and Frazier were married on July 4, 2004 in Lancaster, California. They spent a wonderful whirlwind of an adventure together raising two amazing children and making memories all over the world.

Frazier was a proud and loving father with a silly side that matched the energy of his kids creating so much laughter and memories through the years. He loved every part of raising Evan and Sedia and shared with anyone who had a few minutes to listen how wonderful his children were and how blessed he was that he was their Dad. As a matter of fact, when his wife would meet new colleagues and friends, not much time was needed introducing Evan and Sedia because they already knew them through the stories their Dad had already shared. Evan and Sedia were Frazier’s world.

“Frazier loved people” is an understatement. He plugged into people with passion and purpose every single time he connected. Frazier was authentic and genuine in his unwavering dedication to make everyone feel seen, feel heard, and feel loved. Sometimes Frazier knew before the person knew and would reach out at the most ideal time, no matter how much time had passed since the last interaction. Frazier just knew! He always said, “I gotta take care of my people” and reminded others to "Take care of your people”. Frazier was love.

Frazier is a Hero whose impact will be forever felt by his family, friends, military brothers and sisters, and nation. Through his sacrifices, provisions, love, and protection, he strengthened us then and he strengthens us now.

A Celebration of Frazier’s Life and Final Salute will be held at Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado on July 2, 2024, from 11:00am to 12:30pm. An interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 2:30 pm leading to a Celebration of Life Fellowship at Community of Grace (4343 South Flanders Street, Centennial, CO, 80015) from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
