Willis’s loving spirit is carried on by his wife & best friend Betty of 61 years. Children; Connie (Rick), Cindy (Tim), Mike (Connie), Becky (Rick), Debbie (Ed). Grandchildren; Jessi, Michael, David, Justin, Dane & Great Granddaughter Victoria. Brother Dwayne (Sandy). He was proceeded by his parents, 3 sisters & 1 brother.
Willis proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1962 until he was honorably discharged in 1968. He was an avid sports fan but loved more than anything when he got to coach his kids in baseball & softball & watch his grandchildren play their variety of sports. He was a skier, softball player, golfer & loved to be outdoors in the mountains fly fishing.
Willis simply loved life & thanked God daily for all the blessings he was given. His belief was “I want to live only as long as I am living & live each day as if I’m alive”. He always let his family & friends know he loved them more than anything. He was never afraid to approach anyone & he always made everyone feel welcome, that’s why he had so many friends.
