After all these years I finally find you 2. I cannot tell you how heartbroken, for you , I am to see this news. Funny funny Dave. In reading, it sounds as if he never changed. My prayers are with you and your family.

So very sorry for your loss. Dave was a wonderful man and always fun to be around. I know Kristen loved him for all the help that he gave her. He will be missed greatly.

Dave had a way of looking at you like " hey did you get that? " Like the 2 of you had a moment no one else shared. But he was so sincere we all got that moment. Rest Dave.

Alescia, Taylor, Beau, and Alexa,

Dave the Wave was a great guy, I know you all will find it a bit comforting to read so many tributes here from so many friends. I always enjoyed Dave's company, he made me laugh many, many times over. I always felt very welcome in your home. I have a lot of nice memories that I'll tuck away with a smile in my heart.

The untimely passage of our loved ones, may take a person out of this world and out of our future, but it can never remove them from out past. All of the things that we loved so much about a person, have entered so deeply into our souls that they will always remain a constant part of us. The Lord gives, but the Lord does not take away, the things that we lay down firmly in our memories and hearts matter and endure. Our missed ones presence will always remain to us, as real as their absence. May the good Lord bless you all, and may you find moments of comfort. I'll miss you Dave - rest in peace brother. Sincerely. Jim George

Dave The Wave-SOo many great memories when I think of you-from welcoming me as the new DJ at Bogart's(the beginning of our friendship) to renting a limo to go to that bar over by Red Rocks for your birthday to welcoming Blake into this world and all those Thanksgivings and Christmases with yours and Alescia's families when I was working in retail and couldn't go home and so many more-due to my friendship with you that started by the simple act of being you-a man that never knew a stranger. I am looking forward to being welcomed by you again-this time to Heaven-along with Blake. Until then-Prayers to all those that knew and loved you. Mark 'Stick' Sogard

I am heartbroken to hear the news of Dave's passing. The funniest guy with the most hilarious personality. He made everyone smile. A loving husband and father and such a great friend to so many. Dave - I'm so glad I got to spend time with you a few days before and listen to your humor one more time. You gave me a ride in your Corvette which was fun and I also got a big hug goodbye and heard the comforting words of "Love ya Nazicle". I thought of you and loved you as a brother. A brother I am going to miss terribly. Much love to Alescia, Tayler, Beau, and Lexi.

Dave, you will be greatly missed, but never, ever forgotten. The last time I saw you, you gave me a big hug and with tears in your eyes told me that you loved me and I love you right back. I am truly blessed to have know you and I have such happy, funny memories of you. Dave, you are gone too soon and I am deeply, deeply sorry for that, but you will always remain deep in my heart. Love you Dave the Wave....
