I just learned tonight of Jim's passing. I am so sorry to hear this and my thoughts and prayers to Mona and family. I had the pleasure of working with Jim for twenty years, and during those years we had countless conversations that I cherish to this day. Whether it be about work, our mutual love of music, women or anything, Jim was a great person to talk to and a great listener. I always appreciated that Jim took interest in my family. He'd make a point to ask how my kids were doing! Loved Jim and I'll miss him!! Rest in peace "Mel".

I have known Jim for many years, even before him and Mona met. He gave the best HUGS ever. He was a very kind and generous man and do anything for you. When him and Mona got married, I told him it was time he started calling me Aunt Doris and he did once or twice, but he said it just didn't seem right, I told him that was ok. He loved his Mona so much and she loved him as much too. Jim will be missed very much and I know he knew how much I loved him.

Jim was one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure to know. All through the ups and downs he always had a great positive attitude that made talking with him a joy. Whenever I had a technical question regarding some difficult work Jim was a super competent source of know-how that you could always rely on.
It was great knowing Jim and I will miss him.

So very sorry this came so soon... Sending love & prayers to the whole family - we will all miss Jim dearly. Even to the very end, in ICU, still his kind, funny & mischievous self. (What a sense of humor!) His kindness and decency will always be remembered. Appreciating every moment with him, and always holding him in our hearts. He is leaving us much too soon.

Jim was a good man, he loved his family, his country and his work. And he loved his cars and his cats too. I remember when he and Mona visited us we took them out to Anna Maria Island to see the beaches and big beach houses. The thing that interested Jim the most was the sonic pile driver setting the corrugated sheets for the sea walls of a new home being built there. A very good man...
