I have very good memories of my grandpa John. Although I didn't get to spend much time with him. Except for when I was very young. May God watch over us All!!

We always enjoyed visiting with John at all the family gatherings. He was a kind and gentle man. We will miss him but know that he is in a wonderful place watching over the family from above. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Elvera, Jan and Tom Sevier

We consider our time living next door to John and Jess a wonderful blessing. They became great friends and we referred to them as 'our extra parents'. John was a wonderful, down to earth human being who was plain-spoken and strong. He will be missed!

Very few people know this BUT my mother gave me Johnny to be my brother. He always called sis. Thinking of all the family .

Uncle Johnny was such a great man! I always loved watching him, dad and Uncle Marvin when they were together! Its been a lot of years since I've seen him and Jesse but I've thought of them fondly thru the years. He will be missed greatly! God Bless you Uncle Johnny!

I grew up hearing stories about Uncle Johnny from my dad Alvin Mangers. Oh, he was a hero to my dad and such a great guy for me to get to know too as I grew up. Jerry and I are so happy that we had the chance to have lunch with him in Colorado when we brought Dad and Mom (Al and Kay Mangers) to Colorado a few years back. We send our sympathy to you all as you mourn his passing. And we praise our GOD that HE has given us faith. We will be praying for you all.
