Kay Owen

A Kay Owen, age 78, of Littleton, Colorado passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, June  12, 2016 at Littleton Adventist Hospital. She was born in Amarillo, Texas, to Harry R “Raymond” and  Ruth C (Gamblin) Jackson. Kay grew up in San Diego, CA and graduated from Mar Vista High School. Kay  met and later married William J “Bill” Owen and had four daughters. She largely worked  bookkeeping/banking in the Denver area. After retirement, Kay enjoyed attending Columbine Hills  Church of the Nazarene and visiting with friends and family. She especially enjoyed being able to benefit  others and was generous in helping with a seen need. Kay was preceded in death by her parents and  husband and is survived by her brother Noel Jackson of Santee, CA, her daughters Pam (Jerry) Closken of  Rio Rancho, NM, Robbyn Owen, Lynnea (Randy) Wall, both of Castle Rock, CO and Terri (Steve) Valdez of  Littleton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great‐grandchildren, several nieces and  nephews. Services will be held Sunday June 19, 3pm at Columbine Hills Church of the Nazarene 9700 Old  Coal Mine Road, Littleton, CO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a gift; either to her church, the  American Lung Association or any addiction recovery association.
