Lyle Dean Leitz born July 6th, 1939 in Platteville, Colorado to Clarence and Ivanell (Parkinson) Leitz.
He is survived by loving wife Connie of 54 years, son Greg and daughter Jennifer, and grandchildren, Nicholas, Chasey, Jordan and Jacob. Sibling Willadene Jackson.
Lyle was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be remembered for his unconditional love, and generosity to others. Lyle loved the outdoors and worked in construction until the day he passed. He was involved in the beginnings of the Botanic Gardens and Hudson Gardens. He loved working side by side with his son. He was unconditionally proud of his daughter’s commitment to helping others in the field of nursing. Lyle’s passion was the game of hockey and watching his grandsons play the game. There was rarely a Sunday he was not out playing golf with his son and grandsons or watching a football game. He always supported his granddaughters cheerleading and volleyball endeavors. He was an inspiration and mentor to those he worked with. He was a master and teacher of his craft.

Lyle’s funeral service will be held on December 2nd, 2015 at “Drinkwine Family Mortuary”, 999 W. Littleton Blvd. 80120.
