I will miss my lunches with Penny! I knew her distantly for so many years, but when I started having lunch with her and my own mother, I learned what a kind and attentive woman she truly was. And she always spoke with obvious pride and love about her children and grandchildren. My deepest condolences to you all -

Susan, I am Penny's eldest daughter. She might have spoken of me. She called me Sandy. Thank you for your kind words. I was grateful your mother came for the service yesterday. I had a photo I thought was of the Star Ladies. She verified that it was, and identified all of them. I know that group, and your mother were very dear to Mom.
