Joan was a jewel. A loving wife, a dedicated mother and a faithful friend.
I spent a summer month with her family back in 1968. A pack of good sunny memories!
We remained friends since then. Joan and Jerry came to visit us in Switzerland, Italy and we met later in Seattle.
My wife Mehregan and I always admired the loving couple they represented with simplicity and truthfulness. Joan was a life enjoyer who would remember so many details of happy times with humour and precision.
Knowing Joan and Jerry remains a privilege and a blessing.
You are in our hearts. May God bless you…

Dr. Hix & Family, So sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I am sure you will find comfort & support from your family & friends. Knowing Joan was an honor & I considered her not only a boss, but a friend.
